About
Staff Engineer at Kanop, a climate tech company using satellite imagery to monitor forest ecosystems. I’m the sole backend and infrastructure engineer, working alongside data scientists and computer vision engineers on geospatial and time-series data processing at scale.
Before Kanop, I spent 17 years building data platforms and backend systems at leboncoin, Algolia, and ManoMano.
I’m currently deep-diving into database internals: implementing a B-tree and LSM tree from scratch in Go (oakdb) to understand storage engines at a fundamental level.
I write about distributed systems, orchestration, and the things I learn along the way.

Outside of work, I coach youth triathlon and train for races myself.
I also build LEGO modular sets and ride bikes — a lot of bikes.
